Legal requirements / information required to get married in Saint Lucia

The following ORIGINAL documents are required: -

Passport and Birth Certificates for Bride and Groom

- If either party is divorced, proof of Decree Absolute

- If either party is widowed, death certificate of the deceased spouse

- If a name has been changed by deed, full proof is required

- If one of the parties is under the age of 18, evidence of parental consent is required in the form of an affidavit stamped by a Notary Royal

- If any required documents are not in English, an authenticated translation must be available
